This week has been a bitter-sweet week in which I have found great comfort in being able to hide behind my camera, yet, completing this weeks challenge was difficult as it was not where I wanted to be (or where I think I was most needed). However, I did slip out of my husband’s Mawmaw’s hospice room to capture a landscape of the scene surrounding the building she is in. I would not want to be in a nursing home, or die in a hospice home but if I had to, this is the place I’d like to be. The nurses here work diligently to take extra special care of the patients in their care. That’s really saying something because there is a reason there are horror stories about nursing homes. These nurses are as beautiful and sweet and gentle as the scene which surrounds their “office.”
