With this week being Christmas, Carrie Swails (owner and operator of Photography Awesomesauce), who hosts the Winter Lighting Challenge, has given all of us the week off. To be totally honest, I don’t know if I’m happy about the decision or a little disappointed. I guess a mixture because I was prepared to complete the challenge but with Christmas and traveling and visiting it’s nice to know I can take this off my plate.
However, using the past as an indicator, I don’t trust myself to keep up with the blog and I’ve been doing good for the last two months; I want to keep that up. So with that in mind, I’m going to post a handful of photos we took while making sugar cookies with my niece, a lovely night shot of the town square, where my husband grew up, all dressed up for Christmas. I’ve also got a few lovely photos of our hotel Christmas Tree! I played with some more of the shaped bokeh with it, too. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas with your families and friends! Enjoy the photos and have a fun and safe New Year!
